In the late autumn from 1 October to 16 December the prices for accommodation at the SYH branch in Zakopane at 2 Krzeptówki Street have been significantly reduced:
Façade renovation of the SYH at Sokolska 17 “version 1”
We were finally able to begin the work on the façade renovation (with historical elements) of our Hostel at 17 Sokolska street. Lots of work awaits us, but we hope to achieve a great effect. For now, we were able to get rid of the roughcast render and are watching the tedious and precise work at limestone pieces.
Festival of dumpling on the small market square on 15-19 august 2018
From 15 to 19 of August, for the sixteenth time, the Small Market Square will host the Festival of Dumplings. Apart from several days of feasting and culinary workshops, participants can as usual enjoy the artistic and music programme.

On 23 June, residents and tourists can enjoy a real musical feast. During this edition of Wianki, various sounds will fill the whole Kraków. This time, O.S.T.R., Brodka, Paulina Przybysz, Hańba or the Łódź hip-hop team ?Dwie Sławy? and other artists will perform, on five stages.

This time for the better! The new project of the Urban Green Authority assumes the creation of small Pocket Parks. One of them will be located right in front of the building of the School Youth Hostel at 17 Sokolska street!!! The project is planned to be executed later this year!
Changes in public transport routes
From Monday, 23 April to Sunday, 29 April, due to the need to repair the track in the area of the intersection of Klimeckiego and Powstańców Wielkopolskich streets, tram traffic will be stopped on the section from the Grzegórzeckie roundabout to the intersection of Saska and Lipska streets.

Festival of Sokolska Street in Cracow
On 16.09.2017, as part of the “Podgórska Jesień Kulturalna” (Podgórze Cultural Autumn) programme, the Festival of Sokolska Street took place. As one of the buildings of the School Youth Hostel is located on this street, we were happy to take part in the celebration. Together with the Podgórze Cultural Centre we prepared an interesting programme for children and adults. There was face painting, a soap bubbles show, a competition with prizes and an opportunity to visit the Youth Hostel at 17 Sokolska street as well as some history lessons about our historic and very important building which was built for the needs of the first branch of the ?Sokół” Sports Club.
